Globis Working Paper Series

The Globis Working Paper Series was founded in 2008 in conjunction with the Pelanda Award. It represents the continuing scholarship of Globis affiliated personnel.

The Globis Working Paper Series makes the latest research from Globis-affiliated scholars available to the broader scholarly community.  The papers focus on one or more of the Globis research initiatives, and address themes that are broadly consistent with the challenges and opportunities of globalization.  All papers in the series are draft versions and may not be cited without the explicit permission of the authors.  Comments, however, are encouraged and welcome.

Political science faculty have won every major teaching award given at the University of Georgia — a point of pride for the School of Public and International Affairs and the department.

Study Abroad in Asia

The Globis Asia Study Abroad Program offers students a tremendous opportunity to experience the unique culture, politics, and historical sites of Japan, China, and the Korean Peninsula. Through both classroom learning and extensive field study, students will develop a "global literacy" that cannot be matched by most traditional study abroad programs.
